Ownership marks affidavits, 1911-1931.

This series consists of affadavits of ownership marks used by companies manufacturing, transporting, or bottling dairy products, ice cream, cream, or soda water. The documents include the company name and address, product type, mark description and location, and a notarized signature of the person registering the mark. The 1911 Legislature approved an act providing for the registration of marks with the Secretary of State. (Laws of Utah, 1911, Chapter 30). The act was repealed by the Legislature in 1931. (Laws of Utah, 1931, Chapter 16).
